Application of Pipe Nipple

The pipe nipple is a connection tool between the pipeline and the pipeline, and is a connection point that can be disassembled and assembled between the component and the pipeline. It plays an indispensable and important role in pipe fittings. It is one of the two main components of hydraulic pipes.

There are many types of pipe nipples. Commonly used pipe nipples can generally be divided into hard pipe nipples and hose nipples. According to the connection method of the pipe nipple and the pipeline, the hard pipe nipples include flared nipples, card sleeve nipples and welded nipples, and the hose nipples are mainly withhold hose nipples.

In the hydraulic system, the connection method of the pipe and the pipe nipple is also different, and the connection thread is used at the screw-in end of the pipe. The taper thread is tightened with its own vertebral body and sealed with Teflon and other substances. It is mainly used in medium and low pressure hydraulic systems.

The sealing effect of the fine thread is very good, and it is often used in high-pressure systems. However, it requires the use of a combination washer or O-ring to seal the end face, and sometimes a copper washer is also used. It is more suitable for pipes with thicker connecting pipe wall, and its main components are joint body, pipe and nut. When in use, insert the joint body into the target, and use the aforementioned gasket to seal the end face. The nipple body and the pipe are sealed with rubber, and sometimes a spherical seal is used.

Since the pipe joint is a detachable connection element, the pipe joint supplier meets the requirements of stable normal connection, strong sealing, reasonable size, small pressure loss, good process performance, etc., and must also meet the requirements of convenient assembly and disassembly. Therefore, don't underestimate the small pipe nipples, because only its existence can support the existence of the entire hydraulic system.
